Wholesale data migration is not an everyday storage manager's task and there are many points that can catch you out if not planned and executed precisely.

Our expert migration consultants perform data migrations regularly for many customers on behalf of leading vendors and as such, have access to enterprise level toolsets and an industry leading knowledge of best processes.

 Benefits

We know where to look for problems, how to reduce outages to a minimum and how to organise the changes around the migration such as user testing, re-syncing replication and re-organising and optimising backups.

Example

Client had recently purchased a new Enterprise Storage solution with cross-site mirroring and was unsure of the best way to migrate data from their old array and stand-alone storage units to the new array with some servers having over 100GB of data needing to be moved in very short timescales.
ItegraL consulted with the client and agreed a suitable implementation plan over a set number of weeks and deployed tools to reduce outages to the minimum. ItegraL consultants completed the entire data migration, with no loss of data, while where appropriate, optimising the layout of the data.
