With organisations storing hundreds or even thousands of tapes, often off-site, the achievable cost-savings from reducing the number of tapes stored can be significant.
ItegraL provides a service that reduces data to around 10% of that previously stored by converting your previously un-indexed, ‘dead’ backup tapes into an active archive. This includes data de-duplication and allows for rapid search and retrieval of information whilst maintaining the forensic integrity of your backups.
